Reach for Home's interim housing program has an 84% success rate in keeping people housed. We know that if we continue our model, we will be able to reach functional zero by the end of next year!
Because of the current administration, Reach for Home is seeing funding cuts even though we do not receive direct federal funding and in July we experienced a 17% decrease in county funding. This, paired with the dearth of housing vouchers and cuts to benefits for participants, means our expanded program is at risk in the coming months.
Our staff and board of directors are diligently seeking alternative sources to keep this program fully funded and we need your help! Your dollars will allow us to leverage support and pave the way for our expanded interim housing program to continue. Our goal is $25,000 and thanks to Care Morgenstern all donations made will be matched up to $10,000!
